Postdoctoral Fellowships in Transplantation Immunology and Stem Cell Biology (U.S. residents only)
Clincal Research Nurse (#23948)
This position will report to the Clinical Research Nurse Manager at the Institute for Cellular Therapeutics. Candidate will provide administrative and clinical management support for all clinical trials (application of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation) conducted or sponsored by the Institute, including those at off-site locations. This individual will serve as the point person for clinicians, researchers, and collaborators on one or more trials. Primary responsibilities will include all aspects of pre, peri and post enrolment activities, assist with the development of clinical protocols and maintenance of regulatory documents. Duties also include post treatment follow-up activities including tracking of research time points and arranging for shipment of research specimens. The applicant may prepare and participate in reporting of results to the local IRB, FDA and DSMB and will assist the Clinical Research Nurse Manager in the initiation of new sites. This position involves data collection, analysis and reporting of results in an academic research environment. On call work is required and the position involves travel to off-site locations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, license to practice as an R.N. in Kentucky, and two to four years of related experience. ACRP Certification in Clinical Research Coordination is desirable. Salary commensurate with experience. Grade EG.
