Treatment of Other Diseases

There are a variety of diseases and disorders that are referred to as inherited abnormalities of bone marrow derived cells. This can be a red blood cell disorder, other immunodeficiency disorder, or genetic error of metabolism, which is a result of some abnormality in the blood cells.

These disorders include but are not limited to:

  • Red blood cell disorders such as Thalessemia
  • Other immunodeficiency disorders
  • Genetic errors of metabolism

Clinical Trial for inherited abnormalities of bone marrow derived cells

The Institute will have a clinical trial for treating inherited abnormalities of bone marrow derived cells. In addition to the advantages standard BMT offers, these patients may also benefit from the establishment of chimerism that the Institute's BMT process may provide.
